Amalfi Revelry

I just changed to this scent yesterday. I love the lemony freshness, but I have had to turn it way down to 1. I love walking into my house after being away and inhaling this scent.

Another quality Aromatech scent. Purchased the aromatic citrus 60ml set to test new fragrances. It included this gem, Amalfi, which almost made me choke upon sniffing the bottle. It does have a strong astringent / men’s cologne top note kick until diffused, then mellows into a minty freshness that reminds me of spring in the southern Rocky Mountains. Still some melting snow on the ground, and flowers blooming next to fresh water run-off streams with sage/rosemary. There is a playful mid-note of citrus and its understandable why this is considered a coastal fragrance. Its crisp, balanced and invigorating. Unlike some of the other ‘fresh’ aromatech scents (like the white teas which are wonderful too) amalfi is complex enough to keep you interested. I do have to run it on higher intensity than others-4/5 instead of 2. This isn’t a scent that I would keep in my house yearlong, but it’s a great seasonal treat. I prefer it over hotel.

Post holidays, I was craving a fresh scent, unlike anything wintery or Christmasy. I went with Amalfi Revelry, as the “tasting notes” (which I call the scent write ups LOL) sounding intriguing.

I LOVE this scent. It’s neither overtly lemony or herby….its a sophisticated blend that elevates my mood. It’s not heavy, it does not overwhelm.

It’s just what I was looking for: an elegant scent with hints of spring to come (as I look outside at the grey melty snow).

This scent leans towards fresh clean slightly masculine citrus smell. I run on low but I really like this scent. I think the woodsy base is what gives it a slight masculine smell but the scent itself is not perfume strong at all not like Santal and Zesty Champaca which are beautiful strong scents this is beautiful too just more subtle to my nose
