This fragrance diffuser also has the option to be mounted to a wall for easy and discrete installation. The Air Stream Duo™ air handler scent delivery system utilizes cold-air diffusion technology to provide the highest quality aroma with no residue left behind. Cold-air diffusion preserves the integrity of aroma and essential oils, so you can receive the maximum olfactive and therapeutic benefits, without heat, evaporation, or diluting the oils in water or alcohol. The scent intensity is easily controlled through an external digital touch screen.

SETUP GUIDE

Fill up 2 aluminum 4 litre drums with 4 half gallon drums (2 per drum) of your favorite aroma oil.
Screw the drums into the diffuser.
Connect the air pump (black box) to the diffuser with the oil drum using supplied air tube.
Drill two 1/2 inch holes inside your air duct and insert an air tube from the diffuser into the air duct. Make sure to keep the tube straight, avoid kinks and coils. Insert the tube into the duct after the coils, filters and only on the return side.
Keep the air tube from diffuser to the air duct as short as possible, recommended length is 6 – 15 inches.
Keep the air tube from the air pump (black box) to the diffuser max 10 feet.
Plug the power adaptor into the scent machine and then into the wall outlet.
Using the internal 24/7 digital timer set local time and hours of operation of the device.
Use the + and – buttons to set the scent intensity.
LCD display will indicate the scent level from 1 (low) through 20 (high).
Recommended size to buy: (4) half gallon drums or (16) 500 ml. bottles

Remember, less is more! Start at the lowest setting and allow the scent to spread throughout your business before increasing the intensity.

FAQ – Air Stream Duo™

What size room can Air Stream Duo™ handle?

The Air Stream Duo™ is fully adjustable for different size areas. It is most effective in spaces of up to 15000 square feet. Depending on the fragrance oil you use it may cover more area since some oils are more potent then others.

Where can I place the Air Stream Duo™?

You must place the Air Stream Duo™ on a flat surface. If placing on the table top or a shelf make sure it doesn’t tip. Alternatively you can wall mount the diffuser with drum when connecting to your HVAC/AC system. If wall mounting the Air Stream Duo™ drum with diffuser make sure it is secured properly. Refer to the User Manual for more details and how to connect to HVAC (air conditioning and heating system).

Do I need to adjust Air Stream Duo™?

Yes! Air Stream Dup™ is a very powerful device that can handle very large spaces. If your scenting system is set too high for the room size it can cause discomfort for some people. Adjusting scent intensity is easy. Simply touch the up and down button on the device to adjust from level 1 (min) to level 20 (max). Start at level 1 and work your way up if needed.

How strong should I make the scent?

Remember less is more. The Air Stream Duo™ allows you to get rid of bad odours and create a unique ambience with small amounts of scent. Unlike other air fresheners the Air Stream Duo™ can be adjusted with a simple touch. Human nose gets used to scent very fast so if you don’t smell the scent anymore that doesn’t mean it’s not there. Simply leave the scented area and re-enter with a fresh nose to get a better feel of how strong it is.

What is the capacity of the Air Stream Duo™ drum?

The Air Stream Duo™ holds 2 x 4 liter drums that require (2) half gallon jugs of oil per 4 liter drum. The fragrance diffuser is designed to only use the AromaTech™ bottle specific to the diffuser and essential and aroma oils.

How long does the essential oil last in the bottle?

The Air Stream Duo™ uses (4) half gallon drums of aroma oils that will last approximately 8 months with daily usage running about 16 hours a day. To preserve your aroma oil we highly recommend using the internal 24/7 timer and set it up so that the diffuser doesn’t run at night time unless required. Depending on the aroma oil you are using that time may increase or decrease. Some fragrance oils diffuse a lot faster due to their consistency and viscosity.

What is the average oil consumption of the Air Stream Duo™?

Oil consumption strongly depends on the essential or aroma oil used. Essential oils diffuse faster then aroma oils. Average oil consumption ranges from 1 ml. – 3 ml. per hour.

What if my unit does not turn on?

Check to make sure the power adaptor is properly plugged into the DC power jack and the electrical source. If hours of operation timer is set incorrectly and you are trying to diffuse during the time that the machine is programmed to be off the Air Stream Duo™ will not scent. Refer to the User Manual for more details.

How do I unlock the LCD display if it is locked and I can’t control the device?

The Air Stream Duo’s™ intuitive timer is designed to lock itself (shut off) after 10 seconds if not in use. To unlock the display simply press and hold the SET button for 5 seconds.

What if my unit does not scent or there is almost no scent coming out?

Check first that there is an aroma oil in the bottle and the bottle is screwed in straight and snug. If there is fragrance in the bottle but you still don’t smell anything then either the device is in rest or pause mode turned off or the diffuser core is clogged and needs cleaning. Please see “Care & Maintenance” instructions.

How do I connect the Air Stream Duo™ to the HVAC (air conditioning system)?

Depending on the HVAC set up of your business and amount of air handlers that service your entire space choose the air handler that covers the most area. Refer to the below diagram: Drill a 10 mm hole in the air supply duct. Make sure to drill a 10 mm hole before the duct splits to different areas of your space. The Air Stream Duo™ comes with the air tube and an HVAC adaptor. Make sure the HVAC adaptor (silver fitting) is connected into the top of the Air Stream Duo™ air pump. Keep the air tube length between 10 – 20 inches. Make sure the tube is always straight and not kinked or has air pockets. Wall mount the Air Stream Duo™ or stand it up on a shelf near the air duct where you will be connecting it to. Insert the air tube from the Air Stream Duo™ to the air duct. Insert the tube with the airflow not against it. Seal it with HVAC tape. Start up the Air Stream Duo™ and set your desired intensity level from 1-20.

Will the Air Stream Duo™ cover my entire house?

It can but it depends on how big your space is and how many air handlers you have. If you have more then 1 air handler you will require and additional HVAC scenting system.

What type of oils can I put in my scent diffuser?

Use only AromaTech™ diffuser blends; other blends and oils may contain base oils that could result in clogging the device. Many single note essential oils should not be used in the diffuser. Single note essential oils may have a thick or heavy consistency that can clog the diffuser and cause it to stop diffusing scent. AromaTech™ diffuser blends have been carefully blended to be effective for you and safe and easy to use in your cold-air diffuser.

Is Air Stream Duo™ safe to use with children and pets?

Yes. When used as directed and only with AromaTech™ essential and aroma oil blends Air Stream Duo™ is the safest cold-air diffuser available on the market. Make sure to request SDS if you require more info about the oil being diffused.

How does Air Stream Duo™ differ from aerosol and ultrasonic diffuser?

Aerosol sprays diffuser very large particles that drop to the ground the moment they are sprayed providing very high concentrations just in the area they were sprayed. The scent effect is very short and can’t be controlled. Ultrasonic diffusers use water and vibration to diffuse very tiny amounts of essential and aroma oils. With the Air Stream Duo™ there is no diluting with water or other carrier oils required. The scent particles diffused suspend for several hours providing the most subtle and comfortable scented environment. The Air Stream Duo™ creates maintains and evenly provides a perfectly balanced scented environment continuously and in low dosage without alcohol water propellants or other harmful VOCs.

Is Air Stream Duo™ Diffuser Eco-Friendly?

AromaTech diffusers are the most Eco-friendly products on the market. Unlike aerosols the Air Stream Duo™ uses no propellants phthalates and produces no harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Unlike many air fresheners Air Stream Duo™ uses no ethanol or similar solvent to enhance the evaporation of essential and aroma oils.
