Cold-air diffusers disperse fragrances through nebulization—a process that breaks down scent oils into an ultrafine dry mist. The nanoparticles in this mist are so tiny that they remain suspended in the air for hours and leave no residue. This cutting-edge technology uses no water, alcohol or heat, diffusing scents in their purest form.
Cold-air diffusers can cover spaces twice as large as typical candles, reed diffusers, plug-ins and ultrasonics. They’re more consistent, ensuring fragrance is evenly distributed, and more precise, giving you the option to adjust the scent intensity. They’re also cleaner: Because our diffusers neither dilute nor heat the scent oil, they preserve each formulation’s integrity.
No water, no mold, no residue, no clouds of vapor—our cold-air diffusers have a number of benefits over traditional ultrasonics. They’re more powerful and use diffuser oils more efficiently, so your scents last longer. They’re also far easier to use: you can go months between refills, and no hands-on cleaning is required. Because the AroMini BT allows you to adjust the scent intensity it can be used in rooms of varying sizes. It is most effective in spaces ranging from 10 to 1500 square feet (10 to 100 square meters) and is ideal for living rooms bedrooms and offices.
We recommend placing your AroMini BT on a flat surface where it has access to the space’s natural airflow. (Our user manual has more detailed information on how to choose an optimal spot.)
Because the AroMini BT is a powerful device we recommend starting at the lowest setting and slowly increasing the intensity to find your desired level. Simply use the + and – buttons to adjust from level 1 (min) to 9 (max) one the device or using our Scenting app.
We recommend using a low setting to start—even a subtle scent is enough to elevate your mood and your space. Keep in mind that we become accustomed to fragrances quickly; if you feel it’s fading try leaving the room and returning with a fresh nose to get a better feel of how strong it is.
The AroMini BT holds 120 ml of diffuser oil. Please only use our specially designed bottles in your diffuser.
It depends on your preferred scent level. Running your diffuser for eight hours a day a 120ml bottle will last about three months at a light intensity two months at a medium intensity or one month at a high intensity. To avoid wasting oil we recommend using the AroMini BT’s 24-hour timer to set a scenting schedule.
Yes. Our Scenting app allows you to have up to five different schedules for your AroMini BT.
Oil consumption varies according to the consistency of the oil being used. Average oil consumption ranges from 0.50 ml to 0.80 ml per hour.
Check to make sure the power adaptor is properly plugged into both the DC power jack and your wall outlet. If this doesn’t work please let us know and we’ll help get you sorted.
Check first that there is scent oil remaining in the bottle and that the bottle is screwed in straight and snug. If this doesn’t fix the issue the device may be in rest mode it may be turned off or the diffuser core may be clogged and require cleaning. Please check your manual or reach out for additional information on diffuser maintenance.
AromaTech scent oils have a specific viscosity that’s optimal for use in our cold-air diffusers. We don’t recommend using other oils (including standard aromatherapy and essential oils) as they may contain base oils or have a thicker consistency that can clog the machine and cause damage.
Our diffusers and scent oils are child– and pet-friendly. Please note that many animals are more sensitive to smells than humans; if you do have pets in the home we recommend using a low setting on your diffuser.
Aerosol sprays diffuse very large particles that drop to the ground the moment they are sprayed resulting in a very short scent effect that can’t be controlled. Similarly ultrasonic diffusers use water and vibration to diffuse tiny amounts of scent oil. The AroMini BT uses an innovative nebulizing technology that allows for more powerful consistent and continuous scenting. Without using heat or water it turns scent oils into an ultrafine dry mist dispersing fragrances in their purest form. It is quieter than traditional diffusers and leave no residue behind.
